4on4 MW 2 Night Cup announced
Grab your night vision goggles, it's going to get dark. The Consoles Sports League announces a 4on4 Modern Warfare 2 Night Cup on Xbox 360, taking place on Saturday night. Round up your team mates and sign up now for this new tournament.

Sign Up & Order of Events

Sign up starts on February 20th, 3pm CET and ends at 8.45pm. Once the sign up has ended, all participating players will be seeded to the tournament bracket. The matches start on Saturday, February 20th at 9pm CET. The tournament will be played in a Single Elimination mode.

Rules

The Modern Warfare 2 4on4 Night Cup will be played by the Decerto V1 rules for Search & Destroy. In addition, the following rules apply:

4 maps are being played. After the four maps, the rounds are being added up to form the final result of the match.

Map 1 & 3: Team A chooses the map and starts on top.
Map 2 & 4: Team B chooses the map and starts on top.

The match can be played with a neutral host if that's fine for both teams. This has to be stated in the match comments prior to the match. The neutral host has to be a registred CSL player.

In case of a draw after four played maps, a final map is being played. Team A hosts this final map while Team B chooses sides. The final map is "Highrise".

We will offer different cups in different modes and now we will start with a SnD Cup. Next time we will offer 2on2 Demo or 6on6 RGen or whatever. Please write your ideas into the forum. Thx. :)

btw. atm there are 1 Team from Germany, 3 Teams from France and 7 Teams from UK. I think that´s preety cool. :)

if we're using decerto rules then that means there is only 5 snd maps available so u have to play scrapyard invasion terminal and karachi every match and only play highrise in the slight chance that it is a draw? Why not choose 4 from those 5 maps and if it is a draw on rounds then let it be decided by the 1 remaining map...

@Rifle. You can find the tournament here: http://www.consoles.net/eu/cod_mw2-360/4on4/nightcup_200210/ and there is a Tournament Tree where you can find your opponents. (click on vs.) => I will seed the participants to the tournament tree in about two hours.

@POPcat. We still announced this rules and won´t change them. If we change something, the next one wants to play RGen or completely orther rules. But if two teams in a match would make some rule changes, it isn´t a problem for me. But if there is no agreement between this two teams, the rules have to be taken.

We only just found out that "You play 4 maps, and add the rounds. Who has the most rounds wins. If it is a tie, you play Highrise as a tiebreaker " and we won 11 - 10 on rounds but thought it was down to maps? Thanks for telling us so upset that I aint going to win anything... O WAIT.

Why didn´t you upload the pictures in the match. You are talking about messages and protests and whatever, but did i answered in a message or in the protest? No, i was still in the matchcomments and was waiting for your upload for 30 minutes. As i said, i can´t wait the whole night...

But, i will check the pictures and i will take care of this match and eventually there will be some penalties.

The fact is, it´s your fault not mine that the other team is in the next round. You can blame me, but it won´t change anything. Now it´s to late.

The truth is, you were sure, that you are right and didn´t want to play the match until the end. Eventually because you were thinking, that your match has ended, but that was false. You had played only 3 of 4 maps...

And why i had given the default win to the other team? First, they talked to me in the match comments. Second, they want to play the match until the end!!! And you refuse to play the last maps... And before you are askin why i say maps. If there is a draw after 4 maps, a final 5th map is being played.

First, there was no proof, when i had given them the default loss. Second, the other team was ready to play the match. You didn´t want to play the rest of the match. Instead you wanted to give me a proof, which now i can see is no proof. What did you proved with 3 maps? Nothing but you have played not the whole match. I don´t know what i should say more...
