The first general ruleset is finished

It has been done and we're far from finalizing the ruleset. Besides standard texts we offer you the first version of the Match Settings (Point 3). But before you comment on this news, we want to guarantee that we're definitely reading your feedback! We're looking forward to every opinion and feedback from you guys and we'll try hard to make all of you happy. So why not take a detour to the forums and tell us what you think right now?
Please note though, communication in the European section is by rule in English, so that everybody has the opportunity to read what you have to say!

You want vehicles and big fights? So do we

Battlefield isn't just another infantry game, that's for sure. Battlefields big potential lies in giant conquest or rush battles.
The problem are the servers though. According to our information the feature to create lobbies will be patched into the game eventually. As soon as this happens, we wont hesitate to implement bigger ladders like 8on8 etc.
The reasons behind our reluctance are possible fake matches and unfair conditions. Getting 8 people (Squad Rush) on a random server is, as you all know difficult, but doing that with 16 people is almost impossible. Those teams who get lucky enough to get a match running shouldn't be the ones at the top of the ladder just for that matter. Skill is what counts after all.

Furthermore we plan on holding the release and opening cups and much more as soon as the lobby feature is in the game.
